How the contact form works

The contact form on this website does not send or store your message on a server. When you select “Open in my email app,” your browser checks that the fields are filled in and then asks your device to open your own email application with a new, pre-filled message addressed to the foundation.

Nothing is delivered until you press send in your email application. At that point the message travels through your email provider and the foundation’s email provider like any other email, and it is handled under those providers’ own terms and policies. The optional “Copy my message” button places the text on your device’s clipboard and does not transmit it anywhere.

How information may be used

Information you send by email may be used to read and respond to your inquiry; to follow up about support, events, volunteering or donations you ask about; to provide acknowledgment of a contribution if you request one; and to keep reasonable records of the foundation’s correspondence and activities.

The foundation does not sell personal information. It does not use information from this website for advertising.
